Abstract

The method comprises: loading the RDF data set into a memory, establishing a network communication with a client end, and receiving an inquiry request containing OPTIONAL inquiry; analyzing the query request and dividing the query statement into two parts: main query and OPTIONAL query; executing a main query togenerate a main query result; executing grouping query of OPTIONAL query to generate grouping query result, summarizing grouping query result to obtain OPTIONAL query result, combining main query result and OPTIONAL query result to form final query result, and sending final query result to client. The invention discloses an OPTIONAL inquiry method on an RDF data set, by establishing OPTIONAL matching table, marking OPTIONAL variables, adjusting query sentence order and dynamically correcting query results, the efficiency of OPTIONAL query is greatly improved, the cost of query processing is significantly reduced, and the query speed is accelerated.
