The invention discloses an explosion-proof constant-speed permanent-magnet synchronous motor for mining scrapers. The explosion-proof constant-speed permanent-magnet synchronous motor comprises an explosion-proof enclosure, a stator, a permanent-magnet rotor and an explosion-proof end shell, wherein the explosion-proof enclosure is internally provided with a cooling channel; cooling ribs are arranged outside the explosion-proof enclosure; the permanent-magnet rotor comprises a rotor iron core, a rotor shaft and a permanent magnet; the rotor iron core comprises a plurality of rotor sheets; a fan for cooling is arranged on the rotor shaft; the rotor shaft is an insulating rotor shaft; two ends of the rotor shaft are mounted on the explosion-proof end shell through insulating bearings; and the explosion-proof end shell is connected with the explosion-proof enclosure in a sealing manner. The constant-speed permanent-magnet synchronous motor is high in starting torque, and the permanent-magnet rotor is free of loss and idle work, so that the power factor is high, the volume is small and the weight is light, thereby satisfying the requirements, for narrow spaces, of mining scrapers. Moreover, the cooling channel and the cooling ribs on the explosion-proof enclosure and the fan on the rotor shaft are capable of effectively improving the cooling effect, so that the normal operation ofthe scrapers is ensured.
