Abstract

The invention discloses an antenna phase center calibration method, and solves problems in antenna phase center calibration. The method comprises the following steps that the pitching freedom degree of a reception antenna is increased, so that the reception antenna can rotate within the pitching angle of -90degree to +90degree; the antenna is rotated from -90degree to +90degree in the horizontal plane along the clockwise direction and from -90degree to +90degree in the vertical plane along the pitching direction; the rotation angle of the reception in the horizontal and vertical directions aswell as amplitude and phase information in the rotation angle is recorded; the amplitudes in different angles are normalized with the amplitude in the 0 degree, and the half-power beam width in the horizontal and vertical directions after normalization is recorded; and a coordinate of the phase center of the reception antenna is calculated. The method can be used to calibrate the antenna phase center rapidly and accurately, and the requirement for antenna metering guarantee can be met.
