Abstract

The invention relates to a compound pesticide for effectively preventing and controlling cotton aphids and an application thereof. The active ingredient of the compound pesticide for effectively preventing and controlling cotton aphids provided by the invention includes dipropyl cyclamate and thiamethoxam at mass ratio of 1:(4-15). The invention aims to solve the technical problem of drug resistance of cotton aphids. On the basis of a large amount of indoor toxicity screening, the invention finds that the compound of dipropyl cyclamate and thiamethoxam is capable of effectively delaying the generation of drug resistance of cotton aphids and has a synergistic effect for preventing and controlling cotton aphids, so that a new effective preventing and controlling method is supplied for comprehensively controlling insect attacks of cotton aphids. According to the invention, the dosage of pesticides is reduced, so that the cost is lowered, the environmental pollution is reduced, the resistance control on cotton aphids is benefited and the popularization and application of the compound pesticide have huge economic benefits and social benefits.
