Abstract

The invention discloses an optocoupler-based control circuit and a method thereof. The control circuit comprises a first control branch; the first control branch comprises a first control signal inputend, a first optocoupler, a first primary-side on-off control circuit, and a first secondary-side filtering circuit. The first control signal input end is used for receiving a first switch-off function control signal; a primary side of the first optocoupler is used for being coupled to a first control signal input end, and the output of a secondary side thereof is used for controlling first powersupply for a motor driving circuit; the first primary-side on-off control circuit is connected to the primary side of the first optocoupler for periodically switching on and switching off coupling between the primary side and the first control signal input end; the first secondary-side filtering circuit is connected to the secondary side of the first optocoupler for filtering the output of the secondary side and is configured into a lowpass filter, the cut-off frequency of which is lower than the on-off frequency of the primary side. The first control branch also comprises a diagnosis circuitfor diagnosing the working state of the first control branch based on the output and the first power supply of the secondary side of the first optocoupler. The control circuit can also be a safety torque off (STO) circuit.
