Abstract

A locking device for a dual power change over switch and the dual power change over switch are disclosed. The locking device comprises a fixation frame, a first locking piece, a second locking piece,and a triggering electromagnet fixed in the middle of the fixation frame; the first locking piece and the second locking piece are two sets of same structure members symmetrically disposed on two sides of the triggering electromagnet, and comprise hasps and lock buckles pivoted to the fixing frame, hasp reset springs making the hasps maintain a pushing tendency on the lock buckles, and lock bucklereset springs maintaining the lock buckles in locking positions; and the triggering electromagnet is electrically applied to the hasps to make the hasps rotate to drive the lock buckles release fromthe locking positions. The dual power change over switch includes a contact mechanism and an operation mechanism, and the locking device is connected to the operation mechanism to limit the operationmechanism at an intermediate position of the first and second contact closed positions. Common usage of two-position and three-position operation mechanisms can be achieved; and a structure is simple,the volume is small, and the cost is low.
