Abstract

The invention discloses a channel detection method applicable to a power line communication system. A multiphase sequence is generated as a training sequence. A channel detection mathematical model based on the training sequence is set up. A channel detection problem in the power line communication system is converted into a quadratic programming problem. An optimization problem is solved according to a Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) complementation condition. According to the method provided by the invention, an equalizer can be directly obtained through utilization of the training sequence with low data volume. The method is a direct channel detection method. A time-varying channel updating real-time requirement of the power line communication system can be effectively satisfied.
