Abstract

The invention discloses an orientation AVAz forward modeling method and system based on an HTI medium. The method comprises the steps that a petrophysical model of a crack type reservoir is established; AVAz feature analysis calculation based on an azimuth gather is carried out; a crack ellipse interaction analysis view is established; and based on the crack ellipse interaction analysis view, theorientation AVAz feature of the seismic amplitude attribute caused by a crack is analyzed. The method has the advantages that seismic attribute data are used to analyze the seismic response law of theunderground crack type reservoir in real time; the problem of a wrong anisotropic ellipse interpretation result caused by the uncertainty of the orientation anisotropy feature of the seismic amplitude data, and the correct orientation indication of an ellipse is determined; and a forward modeling analysis tool is provided for pre-stack crack detection to complete and extend a detection process. The effect of the actual production application shows that a forward modeling interpretation conclusion can provide an effective theoretical basis for pre-stack crack detection, and the accuracy and credibility of inversion crack orientation data are enhanced.
