Abstract

The invention relates to a pressure difference detection device and method for blockage warning of a slurry pipeline. The pressure difference detection device comprises a pressure probe set, a radialpressure difference sensor, an axial pressure difference sensor, a control system, a pump, and a remote monitoring system. The pressure probe set comprises a first pressure probe, a second pressure probe and a third pressure probe. The first pressure probe and the second pressure probe are separately arranged at the top and the bottom of the front end of the slurry pipeline and are located on thesame radial line. The third pressure probe is arranged at the top of the rear end of the slurry pipeline and is located on the same axis as the first pressure probe. The radial pressure sensor is connected with the first pressure probe and the second pressure probe and is used for acquiring a radial pressure difference signal from the front end of the slurry pipeline. The axial pressure differencesensor is connected with the first pressure probe and the third pressure probe and is used for acquiring an axial pressure difference signal between the front end and the rear end of the slurry pipeline. The control system judges the pipeline blockage condition and the slurry flow pattern according to the radial pressure difference signal and the axial pressure difference signal and sends a corresponding instruction to the pump and the remote monitoring system according to a judgment result.
