The monitoring methodof a fault of the high-voltage compartment on the roof of the D-series high-speed train comprises the steps: according to the monitoring data of the monitoring system, environmental fault determination, busbar fault determination, equipment insulation fault determination and equipment abnormity qualitative determination are conducted.
