The unmanned above-water warning and defending system comprises a buoy connected with a main vessel, a foldable drone anda mission payload mounted on the foldable drone; the inside of the buoy is provided with a controller, a horizontal sensor, an infrared sensor, an optical transceiver, a storage battery power module,a sea wave power generator, a drone take-off and landing platform and an electric winch, wherein the horizontal sensor, the infrared sensor, the optical transceiver, the storage battery power module and the sea wave power generator are connected with the controller, the sea wave power generator is connected with the storage battery power module for supplying power, the optical transceiver and thestorage battery power module achieve signal and power transmission with the foldable drone via photoelectric compound cables wound on the electric winch, and the drone take-off and landing platform and the driving motor of the electric winch are connected with the controller.
