Abstract

The invention discloses application of rhizoma seu radix notopterygii in preparation of an anti-scuticociliatid ciliate drug. The invention belongs to the technical field of medical technology. Rhizoma seu radix notopterygii may be made into a powder with acceptable accessories, which is added to the feed, in order to feed turbots with scuticociliatid ciliate disease; or rhizoma seu radix notopterygii is extracted in ethanol, and accessories are added to make a liquid, which medicates turbots with scuticociliatid ciliate disease in a bath. It is found for the first time that rhizoma seu radixnotopterygii may significantly reduce the mortality of turbots with scuticociliatid ciliate disease, and may reduce the infection rate of scuticociliatid ciliate.
