Abstract

The invention provides a measuring device for measuring oil vapor or other hydrocarbon contents in a gas and a measuring method. The measuring device comprises a PID sensor, and a first gas line and asecond gas line in parallel connection with the PID sensor, wherein one end of each of the first gas line and the second gas line is connected to a sampling gas inlet, and the other end of each is operatively connected to the gas inlet of the PID sensor; the first gas line and the second gas line are provided with a first valve and a second valve for selective switching along a gas flow directionrespectively; a zero point calibration filter is arranged at the downstream of the second valve along the gas flow direction on the second gas line; and the zero point calibration filter is used forfiltering and removing oil vapor or other hydrocarbon in the gas. The device can provide convenient, reliable and flexible operation and calibration, and accurate measurement and measurement error correction can be realized easily.
