Abstract

The present invention provides a detection method for a congested section on an expressway based on multi-source traffic data fusion. In the method, three kinds of traffic data including identification data of an expressway path recognition system, flow data of a toll station in a networked toll system and GPS trajectory data of long-distance and dangerous goods key vehicles are pretreated, and multi-level road network division for the road network of the expressway is performed. By using the three kinds of pretreated traffic source data and the divided road network, the data of the first level road network, the second level road network and the third level road network is matched. By using the three levels of matched data, the multi-level traffic condition of each basic section on the expressway is calculated with a hierarchical congested section detection framework. The method makes the congested section detection result more reliable, can detect the multi-level congested section distribution result, can reduce the calculation amount of the data and improves the detection speed.
