Abstract

The application discloses a vehicle accident recording method and device and a vehicle. A vehicle-mounted unit OBU acquires the own vehicle location and basic safety message (BSM) broadcasted by othervehicles in a vehicle stationary state, wherein the BSM includes identification codes and historical paths of the other vehicles; the OBU determines a suspected vehicle based on a relative position relationship between the own vehicle position and the historical paths of the other vehicles and generates a vehicle accident record including the suspected vehicle identification code; and when collision or scratch occurs between another vehicle and the vehicle in the stationary state, the vehicle is close to the another vehicle at the accident time and thus whether the another vehicle is a suspected vehicle causing the accident can be determined based on a relative position relationship between the own vehicle position and the historical paths in the BSM. After determination of the suspectedvehicle, the OBU generates a vehicle accident record containing the suspected vehicle identification code, thereby tracking the suspected vehicle and fixing the duty. Because of free of the limitationof the recording direction, the success rate of recording suspected vehicles is increased substantially and the user experience is improved.
