Abstract

The millimeter wave MIMO radar antenna comprises a plurality of groups of transmitting antennas and a plurality of receiving antennas which are arranged in two rows in sequence. Each transmitting antenna and each receiving antenna respectively comprise six vibrator units connected by a feeder line and an impedance matching device connected with one of the vibrator units by the feeder line. When each of the transmitting antennas transmits an electromagnetic wave signal according to the driving signal, each of them enables the electromagnetic wave signal to be equivalent to the electromagnetic wave signal transmitted by other transmitting antennas at the position of the transmitting antenna transmitting the electromagnetic wave signal, and each equivalent transmitting antenna is corresponding to a plurality of equivalent receiving antennas. The equivalence of the antennas is utilized to multiply the number of the receiving antennas under the condition of small size, improve the performance indexes such as angle measurement accuracy, clutter suppression ratio and the like of the system and equivalently multiply matching of the signal quality without increasing the transmission power or area of the antennas.
