Abstract

The hot-line test device comprises a leakage current acquisition unit and a portable leakage currentmeasurement unit. The leakage current acquisition unit includes a current acquisition element, an insulated wire, and an interface unit. The current acquisition element is arranged on the insulator or a hardware fitting connecting an insulator string and an iron tower. The current acquisition element is used to collect leakage current of the insulator. The insulated wire is wrapped, attached andfixed on the iron tower. One end of the insulated wire is electrically connected to the current acquisition element. The portable leakage current measurement unit is suitable for being secured to theiron tower of a transmission line and connecting a ground terminal with the iron tower during detection. An input terminal of the portable leakage current measurement unit is electrically connected tothe other end of the insulated wire through the interface unit. The invention also provides a hot-line test method for leakage current of the transmission line insulator.
