The baffle plate assembly comprises first baffle plates and second baffle plates which are vertically and alternately arranged on heat exchange tubes, pull rods which penetrate through inner sides of edges of the first baffle plates and the second baffle plates, as well as supporting tubes which are disposed between each first baffle plate and a tube sheet, between every two first baffle plates, between each first baffle plate and each second baffle plate as well as between every two second baffle plates and sleeve thesurfaces of the pull rods, wherein the second baffle plates are located on upper and lower sides of one end of a U-shaped bend area of the heat exchange tubes; one ends of the pull rods are fixed in the tube sheet, and the other ends of the pull rods are fixedly connected to the end parts of the second baffle plates by nuts respectively. The invention also provides a method for fixation and sealing of the baffle plate assembly. The method comprises the steps of fixing the first and second baffle plates, installing the heat exchange tubes to form a tube bundle, enabling the tube bundle to get into a cylinder, locking the nuts, and the like.
