Abstract

The invention discloses a method for protocol conversion between a robot and welding equipment and a protocol conversion module. The method comprises the following steps of converting a deviceenet protocol into a profibus protocol, namely transmitting received data to a processor chip through a CAN (Controller Area Network) bus conversion chip by using a deviceenet interface, analyzing the data byusing the processor chip, and transmitting the data to a profibus interface. And the corresponding module comprises a devicenet interface, a CAN bus conversion chip, a processor chip and a profibus interface which are connected in sequence. According to the invention, seamless transmission of io data from the devicenet slave station to the profibus master station is realized, and the connection transmission speed is faster. And previous plc conversion is not needed any more, so that the conversion cost is reduced.
