Abstract

The invention relates to a grain cooking method, which comprises the following steps: in a boiling stage, heating water to boil so that grains are kept in a moving state in the water; and stopping orreducing the heating of the water in a standing imbibition stage following the boiling stage so that the grains are substantially kept still in the water.
