The heating and cooling processes are controlled through a control program of the heating stage microscope, through animage capturing control program, a high-speed camera is used for continuously shooting a sample in heating and cooling processes through a microscope. The distance between the lens and the surface ofthe material is kept constant. The strain field of the surface of the sample is obtained through a DIC method, the average strain value of the sample in all directions is obtained accordingly, the average strain value serves as the expansion amount of the material to draw a thermal expansion curve, and the method has the advantages of being simple in equipment and accurate and reliable in measurement result.
