Problems solved by technology

Insulators should not fail due to various electromechanical stresses caused by changes in environmental and electrical load conditions, otherwise the insulator will not have a significant effect and will damage the service and operating life of the entire line
[0003] During the long-term use of insulators outdoors, dust will accumulate on the sheds, resulting in flashover discharges on dirty insulators in wet weather
The existing self-cleaning insulators are provided with a cleaning device on the shed, but the cleaning device is always in contact with the shed, which will affect the insulation of the insulator, which is insufficient

Abstract

The invention discloses a self-cleaning composite insulator. The insulator comprises an insulating rod, and a metal cap and an umbrella skirt which are arranged on the insulating rod; and the insulator further comprises: a cleaning device arranged above the umbrella skirt, a first driving device connected with the cleaning device and used for driving the cleaning device to move so as to clean thetop end of the umbrella skirt, and a second driving device installed on the metal cap and used for driving the cleaning device to move up and down so as to make contact with or be separated from the top end of the umbrella skirt. In the present invention, the second driving device is arranged on the metal cap; and, during sweeping, the second driving device drives the sweeping device to move downwards to make contact with the top ends of the umbrella skirts. The first driving device drives the sweeping device to rotate to sweep the top end of the umbrella skirt, when the insulator is not swept, the second driving device drives the sweeping device to move upwards to be separated from the top end of the umbrella skirt, the sweeping device is prevented from making contact with the umbrella skirt all the time to influence the insulativity of the insulator, and the insulator has a self-cleaning function and does not influence the insulativity of the insulator.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of insulators, in particular to a self-cleaning composite insulator. Background technique [0002] Insulators are special insulation controls that can play an important role in overhead transmission lines. In the early years, insulators were mostly used on utility poles, and gradually developed into a high-voltage wire connection tower with many disc-shaped insulators hanging on one end. It is used to increase the creepage distance, usually made of glass or ceramics, and is called an insulator. Insulators should not fail due to various electromechanical stresses caused by changes in the environment and electrical load conditions, otherwise the insulator will not play a significant role and will impair the service and operating life of the entire line. [0003] During the long-term use of insulators outdoors, dust will accumulate on the sheds, resulting in flashover discharges on dirty insulators in wet weat...
