The construction method comprises the following steps of making a water culture device, constructing an aquatic plant community, constructing an aquatic animal community, performing aquatic microorganism management and performing ecosystem conservation, wherein in the step of constructing the aquatic plantcommunity, aquatic plants are selected according to the classification of emergent aquatic plants, floating plants and submerged plants, and according to the classification, the selected aquatic plants are planted in a water culture box; and in the step of constructing the aquatic animal community, ornamental aquatic animals are selected, the quantity proportion of fish to shellfish is 3 to 1, andafter 5-7 days of putting the aquatic plants in the water culture box, the fish and the shellfish are put in the water culture box. The water culture microlandschaft ecosystem designed by the invention is a circulating system, and water exchange is not needed.
