Abstract

The invention provides a test method and device for a load balancing algorithm. The method comprises the following steps: enabling load balancing equipment to send a first test message received from aterminal during a first test to a server according to a load balancing algorithm, and recording a server address in a first response message when the first response message corresponding to the firsttest message is received; receiving a second test message from the terminal during the second test and the subsequent test, and sending the second test message to a target server according to the load balancing algorithm and the recorded server address; judging whether the second test message reaches the target server or not according to the second response message corresponding to the received second test message, if so, recording the server address in the second response message, and executing the next test until the test fails or the test is finished; and if not, determining that the testfails, and ending the test.
