Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for testing the purity of vortex waves generated by an antenna array. The method comprises the steps of: generating a vortex wave amplitude image accordingto vertically received vortex waves generated by the antenna array; utilizing an OAM spectrum analysis method of vortex waves to analyze the vortex wave amplitude image to obtain the amplitude of vortex waves of each modal component; and calculating the purity of target vortex waves generated by the antenna array according to the amplitude of the vortex waves of each modal component. By applying the device and the method, the purity of the vortex waves generated by the antenna array can be tested, and whether the produced antenna array reaches standards or not can be conveniently and accurately analyzed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a method and a device for testing the purity of vortex waves generated by an antenna array. Background technique [0002] In electrodynamics, orbital angular momentum (OAM) is another fundamental physical quantity besides spin angular momentum (SAM). Vortex electromagnetic wave (RF-OAM) is a kind of electromagnetic wave with spatial spiral phase distribution. In 1992, Allan et al. proposed that the expression of Laguerre-Gaussian beam contains the OAM term of azimuth angle. Since then, the beam containing OAM has quickly become Hotspots of research by scientists. In 2007, Tride et al. theoretically used a phased array loop antenna array to generate radio waves carrying orbital angular momentum at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and verified that electromagnetic waves with OAM can also be generated in the radio frequency band, while providing A method of generating vortex electrom...
