Problems solved by technology

Endshields are typically made of aluminum and it has been found that aluminum endshields may wear and fail prematurely under repeated friction of the rotor and blades, especially at higher rotor speeds, particulate contamination of the fuel, or high back pressure case, especially serious
Severe wear or failure of the end cover can cause the vane pump to seize and not work

Embodiment Construction

[0015] figure 1 is a perspective view of a vane pump according to an embodiment of the present application, wherein the vane pump is indicated by reference numeral 100 . For clarity, vane pump 100 is shown in exploded view.

[0016] The vane pump 100 includes an end plate 10 , an end cover 20 , a stator 30 , a rotor 40 and a gasket 50 . The stator 30 defines an inner space with its inner peripheral surface 31, and the rotor 40 is accommodated in this inner space. By means of fastening members (not shown), such as screws, which can pass through the holes 15 on the end plate 10, the holes 35 on the stator 30, the holes 55 on the spacer 50 and the holes 25 on the end cover 20, the end plate 10 is fixed to the stator 30 at one end of the inner space, and the gasket 50 and the end cap 20 are fixed to the stator 30 at the other end to enclose the rotor 40 in the inner space.

Abstract

The invention relates to a vane pump (100). The vane pump comprises a stator (30), a rotor (40), plurality of vanes (90) and an end cover (20), wherein the stator (30) defines an internal space; the rotor (40) is accommodated in the internal space and driven to rotate around a rotation axis, the rotation axis is arranged in an inclined mode from the central axis of the internal space, and a plurality of vane grooves (44) extending inwards from the outer peripheral surface (41) of the rotor (40) to the inside of the rotor (40) and evenly distributed at intervals in the circumferential directionextending around the rotation axis are formed in the rotor (40); each vane (90) is disposed in the corresponding vane groove (44), the vanes (90) can extend out from the vane grooves (44) and can beretracted into the vane grooves (44); and the end cover (20) is fixed to the stator (30) to close the internal space, the vane pump (100) further comprises an abrasion-resistant device between the rotor (40) and the end cover (20), so that the rotor (40) is not in direct contact with the end cover (20). The invention further relates to a fuel injection system including the vane pump (100).

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to vane pumps and fuel injection systems including vane pumps. Background technique [0002] Vane pumps are widely used in industrial fields. As a common application, it is used as a low-pressure pump or pre-feed pump in a high-pressure common rail system, configured to pre-pressurize the fuel supplied to the vane pump and supply the pre-pressurized fuel to the high-pressure common rail. A high pressure pump of the common rail system, such as a plunger pump, for further pressurization before supplying the fuel to the common rail of the high pressure common rail system for injection. [0003] A vane pump typically includes an end plate at one end, an end cover at the other end, and a stator which together define an interior space, and the vane pump also includes a rotor housed within the interior space. The rotor is supported by a shaft passing through its central bore and is driven by the shaft to rotate about an axis ...
