Abstract

The invention provides a visual stimulation system and method for processing the spatial frequency of a face by a brain visual pathway. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, acquiring brain data of a subject by using visual stimulation and functional magnetic resonance image (fMRI) technology to complete the individualized functional positioning of an interested brain region in the visual pathway, taking a face configuration (low spatial frequency information) and feature (high spatial frequency information) pictures as visual stimuli, recording the fMRI data of the brain of the subject at the same time, analyzing the effects in different brain regions of the brain for face feature recognition and configuration recognition, and understanding the functional connection relationship among different brain regions to complete visual stimulation.
