Abstract

Methods, systems and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device (eg, user equipment and / or base station) may select a beam configuration for wireless transmission on a channel of a radio frequency spectrum band. The wireless device can perform an LBT process on the channel using a listen before talk (LBT) detection threshold based at least in part on a selected beam configuration.
