Embodiment Construction

[0050] The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0051] A reversible information hiding method based on vector quantization, comprising the following steps:

[0052] Step 1. After the original carrier image is divided into blocks, the initial index table T is obtained through the vector quantization process, specifically:

[0053] Divide the original carrier image into non-overlapping image blocks of size w×h, each image block is arranged into a k-dimensional image vector V, and then each vector is zigzag from top to bottom and left to right Compare the codewords Ci in the codebook C in turn, and find the closest codeword for each image vector through the minimum Euclidean distance, so as to obtain the index table T;

[0054] Step 2. Use an optimization algorithm to rearrange the initial index table to obtain a new index table I, specifically including:

Abstract

The invention discloses a reversible information hiding method based on vector quantization, and the method comprises the following steps: 1, carrying out the partitioning of an original carrier image, and obtaining an initial index table T through a vector quantization process; 2, rearranging the initial index table by using an optimization algorithm to obtain a new index table I; 3, performing calculating to obtain a prediction error by utilizing the weights of the four adjacent indexes of the current index; 4, dividing the coding mode of the current index according to different prediction errors; 5, performing index encoding and information embedding by using an adaptive index allocation technology to obtain an output code stream; and 6, decoding and extracting the output code stream. According to the method, indexes are rearranged by adopting an optimization algorithm, so that the spatial correlation among the indexes is stronger, and the indexes can be compressed more effectively.In addition, four adjacent indexes are used for calculating the prediction error, the prediction error can be reduced, and the bit rate is effectively reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of information hiding, in particular to a reversible information hiding method based on vector quantization. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of computing technology, security issues including cloud computing, network and multimedia applications have been extensively studied. Data hiding, a technique to hide secret data by embedding information into a carrier, has received great attention in these studies due to its wide range of applications, where digital images have become a very popular communication medium. In addition, many well-developed image processing techniques are available for applications that enrich digital images, making images more attractive than other media. [0003] Usually, digital images require a lot of storage space and long transmission times due to their huge size. In wireless networks, these constraints limit the use of digital images because mobile device...
