AI Technical Summary

Problems solved by technology

However, low concentrations of organic acids have been shown to still stress yeast growth, etc., inhibiting their growth, resulting in a prolonged lag phase
[0005] At present, there are few studies on how to enhance the stable biological control effect of antagonistic yeasts on acidic fruit wounds, which seriously limits the development of technology to improve the activity of fruit biocontrol yeasts
At present, the methods to improve the acid resistance and biological activity of yeast are mainly focused on the transformation of genetically engineered bacteria, and combined with the toxic factors of acid pathogenic fungi (oxalic acid, citric acid and glucuronic acid, etc.), the fermentation process optimization method can effectively enhance the antagonistic yeast. Research on the effectiveness of biological control has not been reported

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for improving the biological control efficacy of antagonistic yeasts for postharvest acidic pathogenic fungi of fruits and vegetables. The method comprises the following steps of (1) activating biocontrol yeasts; and (2) carrying out liquid culture on the activated biocontrol yeasts. The biocontrol yeasts are marine yeasts Rhodosporidium paludigenum Fell&Tallman, and a strain preservation number is IMI 394084; organic acid is added into a culture medium, so that the capacity of the antagonistic yeasts in preventing and controlling the postharvest acidic pathogenic fungi of the fruits and vegetables is improved; the acidic pathogenic fungi include penicillium digitatum, penicillium italicum, penicillium expansum, botrytis cinerea and sclerotinia; and the method can effectively improve the survival rate of the antagonistic yeasts in different organic acid stresses, improves the capacity of the antagonistic yeasts in preventing and controlling postharvest diseases, is safe, efficient, green and pollution-free, conforms to the natural and environment-friendly concept, and is easy for large-scale application due to the high growth and propagation speed of microorganisms.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of postharvest disease prevention and control of fruits and vegetables, and relates to antagonistic yeast biological control technology, in particular to a method and application for improving the effectiveness of postharvest acidic pathogenic fungi antagonistic yeast biological control of fruits and vegetables. Background technique [0002] Postharvest diseases of fruits and vegetables are mainly caused by pathogenic fungi, which cause the loss of fruit and vegetable products in my country to reach tens of billions of yuan every year, and cause serious resource and economic losses. Pathogenic fungi will not only cause huge losses in fruit quantity, but also a large number of secondary metabolites secreted by many pathogenic fungi may cause serious food safety problems, such as patulin produced by Penicillium expanses. [0003] The pathogenic fungi that cause postharvest diseases of fruits and vegetables mainly includ...
