The device comprises: a movable sample support, which is used for enablinga sample to move between a cleaning and drying area and a spontaneous imbibition area, and is provided with a weighing sensor and a sample clamp; the cleaning and drying area, which is used for cleaning and drying the sample; the spontaneous imbibition area, which is used for carrying out an imbibition experiment on the cleaned and dried sample; a controller, which is used for controlling the movable sample support to move to enable the sample to move between the cleaning and drying area and the spontaneous imbibition area and controlling a sample clamp opening and closing door to change the imbibition mode and the contact area of the sample; and a solution supply area, which is used for supplying the solution for the spontaneous imbibition experiment in the spontaneous imbibition area andchanging the solution for the spontaneous imbibition experiment in the spontaneous imbibition area.
