The pond comprises a water inlet and outlet channel, a drop well, a water inlet and outlet pump room, and a water storage main pond body; the water inlet and outlet channel and the drop well are arranged beside the water inlet and outlet pump room side by side; and the water inlet and outlet pump room comprises an upper-layer water collecting well and a lower-layer water collecting well. Through the arrangement and switching control of layered gates and a lifting mode of a gravity self-flowing water adding pump, garbage in inlet water is automatically intercepted and removed, and sediment deposits in the storage pond are automatically flushed and discharged, so that the self-cleaning of the whole pond is achieved. Through a highly-intensive arrangement form, integrated multi-functional and efficient sharing is achieved, the occupied area of the storage pond is effectively reduced; and meanwhile, water inflow and water outflow are both achieved in the lifting mode of a gravity self-flowing water adding pump, the water storage height in the storage pond can be freely set, the underground space is fully utilized, and the efficient utilization of land resources is achieved. The efficient land-saving storage pond with the self-cleaning function can be used for treating overflow pollution of a drainage system in rainy days and can also be used for treating initial rainwater pollution of a rainwater system.
