Abstract

The invention provides a totally-enclosed half-tank broadband short-baseline water pipe inclinometer which comprises two tanks, the lower parts of the two tanks are communicated through a water pipe,floating bodies floating on liquid are arranged in the tanks, each tank is of a totally-enclosed structure, the length of the water pipe is 2-3m, and the liquid level of the liquid in each tank is located at the center line of the water pipe; connecting rods are arranged at the tops of the floating bodies and are limited in the horizontal direction through guide mechanisms arranged in the tanks; the water pipe inclinometer is fully sealed and is filled with inert gas, so that the problem that distilled water is easy to evaporate and deteriorate and needs to be supplemented and replaced is solved, and the permanent non-replacement and non-supplementation of a liquid medium can be realized; the length of a base line (water pipe) is shortened, so that the installation cost is greatly reduced,the inherent period of the instrument is shortened, the observation frequency band of the instrument is expanded, the key characteristic parameters of the instrument are improved, and short-period abnormal information is obtained while the instrument clearly records earth tide information.
