Problems solved by technology

[0005] The main problem in the application of zero-valent aluminum is the existence of its surface oxide layer, so zero-valent aluminum must be pretreated to remove its surface oxide layer in order to exert its strong reducing ability

Embodiment 1

[0041] 1) Melting the aluminum ingot and adding a catalyst, the catalyst is an indium-bismuth alloy (the mass ratio of indium and bismuth is 2:1), and the mass of the catalyst accounts for 0.1% of the total mass of the raw material; after all the metals are melted into molten alloy liquid , using a vacuum metal granulator to cast the molten alloy liquid into aluminum alloy particles with a particle size of 2-5mm;

[0042] 2) adding the aluminum alloy particles to the sewage processor, adding sewage with a neutral pH value (pH7) for reaction, sampling and monitoring changes in pollutant concentration during the reaction until all pollutants are removed;

[0043] 3) After the reaction is complete, the reaction mixture is removed from the processor and filtered to obtain clear water.

[0044] In this embodiment, methyl orange is used to prepare simulated sewage, and a water treatment test is carried out to obtain suitable water treatment conditions.

Embodiment 2

[0047] The aluminum alloy particles with a particle size of 2-5mm are prepared in the same way as in Example 1.

[0048] Weigh 0.5g of aluminum alloy particles with a particle size of 2mm, put them into 100mL of water with a methyl orange concentration of 10mg / L, the water temperature is 25°C, and the stirring speed is 50r / min. The concentration of pollutants is detected by colorimetry, and the methyl orange is recorded. Fade time, the time for complete fading is 20min.

[0049] The use of aluminum alloy particles with small particle size and large specific surface area can significantly improve the efficiency of water treatment.

Embodiment 3

[0051] The aluminum alloy particles with a particle size of 2-5mm are prepared in the same way as in Example 1.

[0052]Put 10g of aluminum alloy particles with a particle size of 2mm into 500ml of wastewater prepared with copper sulfate with a copper ion content of 100mg / L. The water temperature is 25°C and the stirring speed is 50r / min. After 30min, the copper ion content reaches undetectable , to achieve the effective removal of copper ions.

Abstract

The invention provides a method and equipment for treating pollutants in water by using aluminum alloy particles. The method comprises the following steps: 1) melting metal aluminum, adding a catalyst, and casting molten alloy liquid into aluminum alloy particles; (2) adding the aluminum alloy particles into a sewage treatment device, adding sewage for reaction, and (3) after the reaction is completed, filtering a reaction mixture to obtain clear water, and using the aluminum alloy particles which are not completely reacted for next water treatment. The adopted aluminum alloy particles are high in reducing capacity and can continuously react with deionized water without passivation, and organic waste in sewage can be reduced and decomposed; inorganic wastes are reduced into low-valence non-toxic ions, and the application range of the pH value of sewage is wide. Aluminum hydroxide is generated during the reaction, so that the effect of a flocculating agent is achieved, and suspended solids in the sewage are settled after being adsorbed. And a better comprehensive water treatment effect is achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of water treatment, and in particular relates to a method and equipment for treating sewage with aluminum alloy particles. Background technique [0002] Zero-valent metals have strong reducing activity, and can remove heavy metals, pesticides, azo dyes, nitroaromatic compounds, nitrates, perchlorates and other pollutants in water, so they have a wide range of applications in water treatment prospect. Commonly used zero-valent metals include iron, aluminum, zinc, etc. Among them, zero-valent iron is the most widely used because of its economical, low toxicity and rich content. However, zero-valent iron is easy to passivate the surface and lose its activity during the reduction and decontamination process. [0003] Zero-valent aluminum is a strong reducing agent with a redox potential of E 0 (Al 3+ / Al)=-1.662V, compared to zero-valent iron E 0 (Fe 2+ / Fe)=-0.44V has lower reduction potential and higher ...
