[0041] The present disclosure relates generally to medical imaging, including imaging associated with a body lumen of a patient using an intraluminal imaging device. For example, the present disclosure describes systems, devices, and methods for determining the velocity of movement of an intravascular probe during an IVUS pull-back procedure or other intravascular procedure. In accordance with at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a system for determining pullback velocity based on the IVUS image itself and displaying the velocity as navigational information to a clinician with respect to a desired velocity range.
