The method comprises the following steps: establishing a prototype component library; identifying composition and components of oracle-bone characters; establishing a mathematical model of intelligent oracle character making; generating new oracle bone characters according to the mathematical model for intelligent character making of the oracle bone inscriptions; and encoding the new oracle bone characters, and then storing the new oracle bone characters in an oracle bone character library. According to the method, cognitive psychology and an oracle-bone word making principle are combined, an intelligent oracle-bone word making theory based on components is provided, a mathematical model for intelligent oracle-bone word making is established, and a computer system structure for intelligent oracle-bone word making is designed.
