Abstract

An intelligent power grid transient stability distributed adaptive control method comprises the following steps: regarding the whole intelligent power grid as a controllable nonlinear multi-agent system, determining neighbor generators of each generator by utilizing topology modeling, and setting communication weights among the generators so as to determine a parameter matrix of the system; establishing a dynamical model of the intelligent power grid, defining a relative power angle and a relative rotating speed between each synchronous generator and a neighbor generator, and then designing a leader following consistency error of each synchronous generator; and designing a distributed adaptive controller by using relative power angle and relative rotating speed information between a local generator and a neighbor generator, and carrying out active adjustment by adjusting power output of an external energy storage device so as to asymptotically eliminate deviation of all synchronous generators so that the system is restored to be stable. According to the invention, topology modeling is carried out on the intelligent power grid by using an algebraic graph theory, and the modeling method is suitable for all intelligent power grids.
