Abstract

The invention discloses a dumbbell type deeply-buried subway station and a construction method thereof. The subway station is in a dumbbell shape and comprises circular open-cut vertical shafts located at the two ends and an underground excavation channel communicating with the two circular open-cut vertical shafts; each circular open-cut vertical shaft comprises a station hall layer located at the top, a plurality of equipment layers located in the middle and an end platform layer located at the bottom; and a longitudinally-extending platform layer, an ascending track and a descending track are arranged in the underground excavation channel, wherein the ascending track and the descending track are located on the two sides of the platform layer. The dumbbell type deeply-buried subway station and the construction method thereof have the advantages that (1) the combination form of the circular vertical shafts at the two ends and underground excavation of the platform layer at the bottom is adopted, stress of the circular vertical shafts in all directions is relatively balanced, a large number of internal supports can be saved, the engineering risk and the engineering cost are reduced, and the construction period is shortened; and (2) the station building function requirement and arrangement have good integrating degree with the structural form, and the large-size circular vertical shafts can meet the shield receiving and starting requirements and can be utilized as station function space.
