The method comprises the steps that in response to a duration query request initiated at a specified moment, a first number of to-be-processed tasks in a first preset time period is determined, the duration query request is used for indicating processing duration expected to be consumed for querying and processing the first number of to-be-processed tasks, and the first preset time period starts at the specified moment; based on the historical processing efficiency in a second predetermined time period and the real-time processing efficiency in a third predetermined time period, the predicted processing efficiency in the first predetermined time period is obtained, the second predetermined time period and the third predetermined time period end at a specified moment, and the second predetermined time period is longer than the third predetermined time period; and the processing duration expected to be consumed for processing the to-be-processed task is determined according to the first quantity and the predicted processing efficiency.
