Abstract

The invention provides an antenna outer cover structure of a downhole instrument, which enables an outer cover and a drill collar body to be integrated into a whole and enables the outer cover to reliably protect an antenna. The antenna outer cover structure comprises the drill collar body, an inner concave ring groove is formed in the position, corresponding to an antenna arrangement area, of the drill collar body, and the inner concave ring groove is used for arranging the antenna; the antenna outer cover structure further comprises an annular outer cover which is formed by splicing at least two arc sheets, and the axial length of each arc sheet corresponds to the axial length of the inner concave ring groove; a plurality of arc sheets are annularly distributed on the corresponding outer circumference of the inner concave ring groove and are connected through welding to form an integral annular outer cover; the circumferences of the two axial ends of the annular outer cover are connected with the ring walls of the corresponding ends of the inner concave ring groove in a welded mode respectively; and a plurality of long circular grooves are formed in the outer circumference of the annular outer cover.
