The underground electromagnetic logging instrument comprises a transmitting system, a magnetic field array sensor and a control module; the transmitting system and the magnetic field array sensor are both connected with the control module; the transmitting system comprises an upper transmitting coil and a lower transmitting coil; the upper transmitting coil and the lower transmitting coil are arranged above and below the magnetic field array sensor respectively; the upper transmitting coil and the lower transmitting coil generate magnetic fields with opposite polarities, so that the magnetic fields are gathered; and the magnetic field array sensor receives a secondary magnetic field to complete detection of a sleeve. When the directions of the magnetic fields generated by the upper transmitting coil and the lower transmitting coil are opposite, the polarities of the ends, close to the magnetic field array sensor, of the upper transmitting coil and the lower transmitting coil are the same, and the generated magnetic fields are denser; and therefore, when the upper transmitting coil and the lower transmitting coil are closed, the sleeve can generate a larger secondary magnetic field, and more sleeve information is carried and is received by the magnetic field array sensor, so that the detection of the sleeve is more accurate.
