The method comprises the steps that a real target vehicle obtains virtual vehicle data transmitted by a simulation platform in a current simulation period; the real target vehicle determines a front sensing target according to the received virtual vehicle data and performs vehicle control according to the determined front sensing target; the real target vehicle feeds back real vehicle control data synchronously generated in the vehicle control process to the simulation platform, so that the simulation platform updates a vehicle simulation model based on the real vehicle control data, and determines virtual vehicle data needing to be transmitted to the real target vehicle in the next simulation period based on the updated vehicle simulation model; and the next simulation period is entered, the step of acquiring the virtual vehicle data transmitted by the simulation platform in the current simulation period by the real target vehicle is returned, and operation is continously executed until the simulation platform determines that a preset simulation ending condition is reached, and a corresponding simulation test result is output by the simulation platform.
