Abstract

The present invention relates to a coupling element (5) which has a receiving portion for attachment to a threaded spindle (4) and a coupling portion (52) for connection to a steering column, the coupling portion (52) and the receiving portion being oriented in an axial direction. In order to facilitate more efficient and more flexible fabrication, according to the invention a plate-shaped main body (50) has the receiving portion and the coupling portion (52), the receiving portion having two arms (51) which extend in the axial direction from the coupling portion (52), with inner faces opposing one another transversely to the axial direction.
