Abstract

The invention discloses a core barrel which comprises a barrel body, a distance measuring unit and a control unit, after an underground core is drilled, the core enters a core bin, when the core reaches the distance measuring unit, distance measuring elements can measure and record the distance between the distance measuring elements and the surface of the core, and a plurality of distance measuring elements in a distance measuring assembly are circumferentially arranged around the axis of the barrel body; each distance measuring assembly can obtain the distance between the rock core in the circumferential direction and the distance measuring element, a contour diagram of the radial section of the rock core can be drawn according to data, and the radial section contour of the rock core is gradually obtained through the distance measuring unit as the rock core gradually enters the rock core bin of the pipe body. The time is used as a scale, rock core radial section profile diagrams at different times are drawn according to measurement data, the multiple sets of distance measurement assemblies can obtain multiple sets of measurement data, and therefore effective data are provided for ground stress measurement.
