preparation Embodiment 1

[0178] Preparation of Propylene Polymer (A)-1

[0179] [Preparation of titanium catalyst component (1)]

[0180] 7.14 g (75 mmol) of anhydrous magnesium chloride, 37.5 ml of decane and 35.1 ml (225 mmol) of 2-ethylhexanol were heated at 130° C. for 2 hours to obtain a homogeneous solution. To this solution was added 1.67 g (11.3 mmol) of phthalic anhydride, and the mixture was further stirred at 130° C. for 1 hour to dissolve the phthalic anhydride in a homogeneous solution.

[0181] The homogeneous solution thus obtained was allowed to cool to room temperature, and the whole was added dropwise to 200 ml (1.8 mol) of titanium tetrachloride kept at -20°C during 1 hour. After the addition was complete, the temperature of the liquid mixture was raised to 110° C. during 4 hours, and when the temperature reached 110° C., 5.03 g (18.8 mmol) of diisobutyl phthalate was added.

[0182] This temperature was maintained with stirring for 2 hours. After the 2 hour reaction was complete...

[0193] Preparation of propylene / butene / ethylene terpolymer (C)-1

[0194] [Preparation of titanium catalyst component (2)]

[0195] 4.76g (50mmol) of anhydrous magnesium chloride, 25ml of decane and 23.4ml (150mmol) of 2-ethylhexanol were heated at 130°C for 2 hours to obtain a homogeneous solution. To this solution was added 1.11 g (7.5 mmol) of phthalic anhydride, and the mixture was further stirred at 130° C. for 1 hour to dissolve phthalic anhydride in a homogeneous solution.

[0196]The homogeneous solution thus obtained was allowed to cool to room temperature, and the whole was added dropwise to 200 ml (1.8 mol) of titanium tetrachloride kept at -20°C during 1 hour. After the addition was complete, the temperature of the liquid mixture was raised to 110° C. during 4 hours, and when the temperature reached 110° C., 2.68 g (12.5 mmol) of diisobutyl phthalate were added. This temperature was maintained with stirring for 2 hours. After the 2 h reaction was complete, the s...

Abstract

A polyolefin composition which comprises 45 to 90 parts by weight of a propylene polymer (A) having a [ eta ] value of 0.5 to 10 dl/g and a Tm value of 100 DEG C or above and comprising 100 to 80 mole % of propylene units, 0 to 10 mole % of ethylene units and 0 to 15 mole % of C4-C12 alpha -olefin units, and 5 to 40 parts by weight of an ethylene- alpha -olefin copolymer (B) having a [ eta ] value of 0.5 to 10 dl/g and comprising 70 to 95 mole % of ethylene units and 5 to 30 mole % of C4-C12 alpha -olefin units, and 2 to 25 parts by weight of a propylene- alpha -olefin-ethylene terpolymer (C) having a [ eta ] value of 0.5 to 10 dl/g and comprising 40 to 77 mole % of propylene units, 20 to 40 mole % of C4-C12 alpha -olefin units and 2 to 20 mole % of ethylene units (with the total amount of the components (A, B and C) being 100 parts by weight) and which is excellent in flexibility, transparency, mechanical strengths and heat resistance.

Description

[0001] This application is a divisional application of the invention patent application CN 96191070.4 (application date is September 13, 1996). technical field [0002] The present invention relates to polyolefin compositions excellent in mechanical strength, flexibility and transparency, and molded articles thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to polyolefin compositions having excellent mechanical strength, flexibility, transparency and properties and molded articles such as films or containers composed of the polyolefin compositions. Background technique [0003] Polyolefins such as propylene copolymers are excellent in rigidity, heat resistance and impact resistance, so they are used in various molded products and in various fields. [0004] In order to further improve the properties of polyolefins, such as impact resistance, existing methods include firstly homopolymerizing propylene, and then copolymerizing propylene and ethylene to form block copol...
