Abstract

The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for forwarding and / or addressing a packet in a wireless network, wherein an address information of a protocol layer lower than a network layer is added to the packet, which address in-formation indicates the geographical location of a destination node and which can be changed during forwarding of the packet through said wireless network.
