Abstract

This invention relates to a bridge circuit from ARM imbedded microprocessor system to PC / 104 bus. The bridge circuit comprises the address connection circuit, bus timing circuit, and bus controlling circuit, interval and DMA assistant circuit. The lead legs are divided into two groups, wherein one is connected with ARM CPU bus and the other is connected with PC / 104 bus connection and one is directly connected with the relative signal lead leg of ARM CPU outer bus and the other is directly connected to the socket of PC / 104 bus.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a bridge circuit from an ARM embedded microprocessor system to a PC / 104 bus. Background technique [0002] The ARM embedded microprocessor system is a system based on the microprocessor core of the British ARM company. It is generally composed of CPU, memory, network interface, USB interface, etc., such as figure 2 shown. At present, the ARM embedded microprocessor system does not have the ability to directly access the PC / 104 bus, nor does it have the ability to directly access the ISA bus. references: [0003] [1] PC / 104 Embedded Consortium.
