Abstract

The invention discloses a wavelength scheduling method to improve fairness for burst switching network. Wherein, on JET protocol, with more past nodes and reducing off-set time, the probability of missing package is increasing, which will affect greatly the fairness and channel utility of network. In this invention, using reserved network resource gross of burst package as its weight to solve fairness problem; when load comes to 0.6, this method can decrease the ratio between burst packages of longest and shortest route from 1700 to 2; besides, it also decreases weighted full-network missing ratio given burst package length.
