The inventive also relates to a burst pack sending method based on light burst exchange network, comprising that writing service data and description information into the buffer, assembling service data into a burst pack, to be stored into a SDRAM via the SDRAM controller, when reaches pack length or time threshold value, sending the burst pack description information to a distribution chip, when receives the sending signal of the distribution chip, reading the un-sent burst pack from the SDRAM into the burst pack buffer, when reaches sending time, converting the burst pack into a light burst data pack to be sent to a target address. The invention respectively stores data and description information, to avoid multiple transfers and operations on the data of service data pack, to improve assembly efficiency.
