Embodiment Construction

[0035] As shown in Figures 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6, the device generally designated D for suctioning chips comprises a suction unit (not shown); Suction duct 100 is coupled; Suction duct 100 is as close as possible to the working end of a tool 200 actuated by a tool holder module of the machine tool (not shown); Tool 200 includes a cutting portion fixed on a standard connection support 220 210.

[0036] According to the invention, the suction duct 100 is fixed in a floating manner on the standard connection support 220 of the knife 200 , thereby creating a low pressure around the knife 200 and enabling the knife 200 to rotate. The movement of the air is indicated by arrow F. Therefore, once the cutter 200 and the suction pipe 100 which is the combined part of the suction device D are set in place, the inner surface of the fixed suction pipe 100 and the connecting support part 220 capable of rotating around the axis of the cutter 200 and the outer surface of the cutter 200, there is...

Abstract

The invention relates to a device (D) for removing by suction chips produced by a cutting machine tool by means of at least one tool (200) actuated by a tool holder module comprising a suction unit forming a low pressure. The tool (200) consists of a cutting part (210) and a standard fixing support (220). The inventive device is characterised in that it is provided with an suction hood (100) which is flexibly connected to said standard fixing support (220) of the tool (200) in such a way that a low pressure is produced around said tool (200) up to the end thereof and is fixedly and accurately connected to the tool holder module in such a way that the suction hood (100) is positioned with respect to the tool (200) forming a space therebetween, thereby enabling the tool to rotate with respect to the hood. Said invention is used for removing chips and fluids produced during a cutting process.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of machining, and more particularly to an adaptation arrangement enabling an optimized discharge of chips produced by machining operations. Background technique [0002] Emission of chips from machining operations has long been a concern of machine tool designers. [0003] What actually happened was that environmental standards changed, prompting machine tool designers to limit the use of fluids for lubrication, draining or cooling. [0004] One lubricating technique involves replacing conventional sprayed fluid with a micro-atomized cutting fluid via channels provided in the tool itself. Since this technology cannot discharge chips, it is equipped with a suction module. [0005] In the case of an application by means of micro-atomization, it has been determined that the suction takes place as close as possible to the area of chip generation, i.e. with a suction device combined with the cutter, so that the...
